It’s always an incredible honour when I’m hired to photograph a wedding. It’s even more amazing when the couple happen to be your friends! Not only did I get to join in with the celebrations, but I also got to create their visual legacy too.
I’ve known the bride Lindsey for many years. It’s been wonderful to see her relationship with Mike blossom. I was so happy when they invited me to be their photographer & guest. I couldn’t be happier for them and their little family!
Fun fact: I’ve also photographed bridesmaid Jenny’s wedding (coming to the blog soon), and I’m photographing the other two bridesmaid’s weddings too! Being trusted by such a fierce group of friends is pretty special 🙂
A Wedding Reception at Formby Hall
Lindsey & Mike chose to get married at St Faith’s Church in Crosby, a gorgeous old redbrick church. It was a lovely ceremony with all their friends & family (and my wife Lucy too, no pressure!) looking on.
The wedding celebrations continued a short drive away at Formby Hall Golf Resort.
Formby Hall Golf Resort is a gorgeous wedding venue just outside Formby village. It’s one of the area’s luxury venues and a favourite golf course for Liverpool & Everton football stars. You might even catch a glimpse of Jurgen Klopp walking his dog.
Lindsey & Mike, how happy you look! I loved capturing all the energy & joy and I’m sending my congratulations again. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day.
Thanks too to Darron Watson who assisted me on the day with second-shooting.
If you’re planning your own Formby Hall wedding and you’re looking for a relaxed, authentic, creative approach to photography, please get in touch. I’d love to be there for you!
