Looking for Gluten-Free Wedding Inspiration? Explore My Constellations Liverpool Wedding Photography!
I photographed the wedding of Mari & Neil at the ultra trendy Constellations Liverpool in the Baltic Triangle. As any self-respecting bearded type knows, the Baltic Triangle is THE place to be seen for gluten-free cakes, curious coffee blends and the city’s coolest creatives. I felt right at home 😉
What an amazing day it was when Scouse (Neil) married Scandinavia (Mari). These two are an adorable couple and I loved every minute of us wandering around the city centre together! I have many arrows to my bow but being a kick-ass Liverpool Wedding Photographer is my forte.

Bridal Preparations at the Aloft Hotel
Mari prepared for her wedding day very simply at the Aloft Hotel in Liverpool. The bride was keen to make things as laid-back & enjoyable as possible. It was a quiet, relaxed morning with a few of her closest friends.
I’d heard that the Aloft is a difficult space to photograph in but I had a blast. I’m always looking for an unusual bridal portrait and I found the perfect spot in one of the angled corridors. Doesn’t Mari look incredible? Mari is Norwegian and had the most amazing Vikings-inspired hair! She said it had nothing to do with the Vikings TV show but in my heart, Queen Lagertha would have been proud 🙂 Man, I love that series. Shout-out to Sarah Louise Jones for the incredible styling!
Once the Father of the Bride had joined us, we prepared to leave for the ceremony. I noticed the Aloft had the most incredible circular balcony overlooking the entrance hall. I’d have to remember that for later when the newlyweds were due to stroll past it on their way to Constellations…
Mathew Street Mayhem
After the awesome wedding ceremony at the Liverpool Town Hall, the bride & groom joined their guests beneath the Georgian chandeliers for drinks & canapes. Many of Mari’s family had travelled across Europe to be there. It was a great way for them to see the grand interior of our civic building and have a few glasses of bubbly!
The guests made their way on buses to Constellations. The bride and groom had decided on walking through Liverpool city centre, past the Liver Buildings, down Mathew Street, and on to their venue. Having seen Matthew Street on a Saturday afternoon many times, I knew what to expect. I wished the couple well, and prepared to board one of the buses. With his eyes, Neil silently told me he wanted me to come with them, and then loudly with his voice.
We got some brilliant street-shots of the couple walking through town. The Liverpool locals didn’t let me down. I’ve never seen so many hen parties out in force.
The doorway of a clothes shop looked very sci-fi, so I asked the bride & groom to nip inside. The blue neon lights made such a cool photograph!
